Fat Dissolving Therapy

Injection lipolysis also called fat dissolving injections made up of 4 main active ingredients: L-Carnitine, Phosphatidylcholine, Deoxycholate and acetyl hexapeptide-8. is minimally invasive and currently the most modern method of body contouring in the field of aesthetic medicine, intended for both men and women. This is a good solution primarily for individuals with excess adipose tissue who struggle with stubborn fat in certain areas despite exercise and healthy eating.

Fat dissolving therapy is a natural chemical process in the human body. During injection lipolysis, adipose tissue is eliminated by administering injections of a substance that dissolves the fat cells. Controlled and deliberate slight inflammation of adipose tissue occurs at the injection sites. The fats released from the cells go into the lymphatic system where they are broken down and then excreted from the body through urine.

The injection lipolysis procedure takes place under topical anaesthesia. The important thing is that the patient does not have to prepare for it. Our patients can continue with normal activities and in fact, we recommend resuming usual exercise regimes two days post injection.

What results can I expect?

Many clients see a noticeable difference in the amount of fat literally “melted away” from the first two weeks after the first session. This may vary depending on lifestyle, body type and environmental factors. Performing a series of injection lipolysis treatments allows for a loss of up to 4-5 cm in the circumference in the place where the preparation was injected. If the amount of fat tissue is small, even two or three treatments are enough to achieve the expected results. Injection lipolysis reduces the circumference of the abdomen, love handles, bra fat, back thighs, man boobs, saddle sac, buttocks and double chin, or other parts of the body where the number of fat cells is too high according to the patient. For the best results, we recommend a course of a minimum of 3-4 sessions, 14 days apart. Of course, this is dependent on the amount of fat you want to remove, and the part of your body you’re targeting.

How long does the treatment take?

The procedure takes up to 60 minutes on average, depending on the part of the body to which the product is administered. To achieve the expected results, it is recommended to perform a series of 3-6 treatments repeated every 2 weeks. A nice complement to the therapy is a lymphatic massage, which accelerates the removal of fat from cells.

Common side-effects

Any medical procedure comes with certain adverse effects, there are common side effects associated with fat dissolving therapy. Swelling, mildly and redness may appear after the injection, sometimes there is also slight bruising after being punctured with a needle. The areas of the body treated sometimes become more sensitive to pressure and touch, clients may also feel slight pain or itching of the skin. However, this reaction usually lasts for a few days after the procedure and gradually subsides.

Before the treatment

The treatment does not require any special preparations.
The procedure will normally be preceded by an in-depth medical interview.
Chemical peels and strong cosmetic products should not be used in the area where the treatment will be performed for a few days before the treatment
You should not drink alcohol 48 hours before the procedure

Who cannot undergo the treatment?

You cannot get the treatment if you have the following Medical Conditions:

Intolerance of the main drug components (deoxycholic acid, phosphatidylcholine, l-carnitine, acetyl hexapeptide-8).
Liver or kidney disease.
Endocrine system disorders (·Adrenal Insufficiency & Addison's Disease, Cushing's Syndrome, Cystic Fibrosis link, Graves' Disease.)
Cancer.
Epilepsy.
Varicose veins.
Autoimmune diseases.
Blood-clotting disorders.
Exacerbation of chronic illness (ulcer, arthritis, bronchitis, herpes).
Pathological tendency to scarring

Is injection Lipolysis painful?

Your medical practitioner will numb the area locally for you prior to making any injections, so you’ll feel very little pain or discomfort. As with any needle procedure or injection, there is a risk of redness, bruising or swelling afterwards – but this is completely normal with Injection Lipolysis. As with all injection procedures, hematomas may appear at the injection site after lipolysis

Microneedling is a non-surgical method of skin revitalization, while stimulating its natural regenerative abilities. The unique technology used during the treatment provides concentrated nutrients bypassing the epidermal barrier. Micro-punctures made with sterile, disposable needles create several thousands of microchannels. They remain open for a short period of time, thus allowing for a deep introduction of the selected product. The perforation of the epidermis is strictly controlled – both its frequency and the depth of penetration are regulated depending on the clients comfort. There are minimal micro-injuries resulting from the treatment and it stimulates skin receptors for intensive repair processes.

Microneedling, also known as Dermapen, is recommended for people with skin that requires hydration and nourishment, with signs of ageing, sun damage, acne, discolouration or shallow scars. In addition, it has a positive effect on areas of skin affected by cellulite and works well in the case of losing firmness around the face, neck and neckline. It is also an excellent prophylactic, one-time treatment to improve the overall condition of the skin.

In a short time (about 20 minutes), the skin absorbs up to 90% of the cosmetic product. After the treatment, you can quickly return to daily duties and effects are visible after the first treatment.

The frequency and number of treatments are adjusted to the needs of the client’s skin. The best results are obtained after a series of 3-6 treatments, performed at intervals of 4-6 weeks. Before the treatment

No Retin-A products or applications 24 hours prior to your treatment.
No auto-immune therapies or products 24 hours prior to your treatment.
No prolonged sun exposure to the face 24 hours prior to your treatment. A Microneedling treatment will not be administered on sunburned skin.
On the day of the treatment, please keep your face clean and do not apply makeup.
If you are taking a blood thinner, aspirin or any other medication that you have the propensity to bleed easily while on, please tell your technician. If you are under a physician’s care and need to discontinue your medication for a few days, always ask your physician prior to each SkinPen Microneedling appointment.
If you are planning to receive Botox, make sure that you give yourself at least 2 weeks post Botox injections before receiving your Microneedling procedure.
If an active or extreme breakout occurs before treatment, please consult your practitioner. Wait 6 months following oral isotretinoin .

Cellulite Reduction and Slimming Wraps

Chilli Wrap is a unique slimming concept that not only assists a person in losing unwanted centimeters, but is also very effective in treating cellulite and firming and toning of the body. It is important to note that you do not need to be overweight to have cellulite – as it is not as such a weight problem, but a combined dilemma of increased fat cells, waste accumulation and inadequate circulation.

Below the connective tissue you find layers of subcutaneous fat and it is here where the problem starts. In females this fat is stacked in vertical chambers, which slightly protrude into the dermis and it is these uneven protrusions that cause the well-known orange peel effect when the chambers become extended and less pliable.

The fat cells in males are stacked in a different configuration, as for this reason, men are not as susceptible to cellulite – coupled to the fact that their epidermis and dermal layers are normally thicker than female’s.

Coupled to problems as such as inefficient waste removal the cells in this region, as well as less than perfect circulation, this would result in an accumulation of wastes, and enlargement of the fast cells, which now, with nowhere else to go, will extend to, will press to the top, and will cause the much feared look of cellulite.

Once every two or three days a trained therapist will apply the “Chili Wrap” cream to the body of a client, with special techniques that promote blood circulation and lymph drainage. The body is the loosely covered with a medicinal wrap to help with the absorption and penetration of the cream into the body. The client will remain wrapped for at least an hour and during this time should not be very active. It is of the utmost importance that the client does not sweat during this period.

The active ingredient of “Chili Wrap” is capsicum which means “to Bite”, in Greek. The reason for this being capsicum’s ability to increase the body’s heat production with return speed up the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates.
